After a few years’ hiatus the Cultural Coalition of Washington County (CCWC) is pleased to create a special in-person event celebrating the recipients of the 2022 and 2023 Culture and Heritage Grants. The threads of creativity run deep through the fabric of our community and your efforts and this recognition are an important part of that tapestry. In 2023, the CCWC awarded $76,207 to fund 39 projects. But even more significant, this will be an evening of connecting with others who share the vision of the importance of arts and heritage in the county. It is critical that we share our stories, and know and support one another in our efforts to create a truly thriving community.
A beer and wine reception including hot and cold hors d’oeuvres will begin at 6 pm with the formal program starting at 7:30 pm. Performances by several award recipients will be one of the many highlights of this year’s program. We encourage each organization to bring a representative, board member, or key volunteer.
This invitation has been extended to current, past and prospective grant recipients to join us in this celebration. To prepare accordingly, we request that organizations RSVP no later than Monday, March 27, 2023 at 5 pm PDT. If you did not receive an invitation to the Grants Celebration but would like to attend, please email [email protected] so that one can be sent to you.
The CCWC is a granting board of the Oregon Cultural Trust. To see a full list of 2023 recipients click here. We look forward to celebrating with you on Monday, April 3.
